All men who store sperm must be screened for HIV 1&2, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. Under HFEA regulations, sperm can be stored for a maximum period of 10 years with formal consent. All patients are offered counselling prior to sperm cryopreservation. These arrangements, and details for other semen tests, are available on request.
