Mr Jim Allison is a Consultant Clinical Scientist from Aberdeen, Scotland. He has provided Clinical Biochemistry oversight at the TDL lab in Aberdeen since 2008. He is Clinical Director of Laboratory Medicine for NHS Grampian based in Aberdeen and is also the national Clinical Lead for the Scottish Clinical Biochemistry Network.

His research interests cover point of care testing, forensic toxicology, laboratory innovation and therapeutic drug monitoring. Over the years, he has filled many roles within the ACB including the post of Regional Tutor from 2010 till 2020.
