Special interests: Critical care and intensive care biochemistry, metabolic bone disease, point-of-care testing, and metabolic medicine.

 

Dr Paul Holloway completed his medical and specialty training at the University of Oxford, and went on to be Consultant Chemical Pathologist and Head of Department at St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London. He is now Honorary Senior Lecturer in Metabolic Medicine at Imperial College London, and Honorary Research Fellow at Nuffield Department of Medicine, University of Oxford.

His special clinical areas of interest include critical care and intensive care biochemistry, metabolic bone disease, point-of-care testing, and metabolic medicine. His research interests include critical care sepsis genomics, and several areas of point-of-care testing.
